Echoes and Reverberations (The Edge of the Cloud)
The Quietened Village (The Coast in Flux).
After SubExotic released my album Circles Within Circles (which collected 10 tracks that also appeared on AYITC), I was considering using these last two strays as the basis of a new PL album... re-recording and expanding on the ideas that inspired them.
I've since changed my mind, opting rather to start from scratch with new ideas and a slightly different direction. The only result of the proposed album became a long-form ambient piece that took on a life of it's own and will now appear elsewhere before the end of 2023 (it will be unrecognisable from what appears here, but still features contributions from my friends Harriet and John).
Writing for the next album has begun, though it's a slow process. Expect something towards the end of next year. For now, please enjoy these two forgotten gems.

Here we have a bit of instrumental folktronica, the brainchild of Gordon Chapman-Fox. Various keyboards mix with crisp acoustic guitar, creating a semblance of wistful nostalgia.
