about

One of the first tracks to be started for the album (other than Soundtrack V, which was written in 1983), yet the last to be finished. The working title was Pocket Fisherman, named after one of Ronco's best selling products, but the lyrics (written one morning in New Delhi before breakfast, two years after the original melody was sketched out) took the song to a much darker place.

The vocals come from Blurred Girl of ace synthpop duo Promenade Cinema, and the 60's psych-pop guitar comes courtesy of Tony Nicholson of Passion Play.

lyrics

Leaving again
Always looking forwards
The future’s here today
And we are much stronger than our enemy

Flying again
Up above the storm clouds
The air is crisp and clear
Red Eden, it calls us to infinity

Moving again
Cutting through the jungle
The temple’s drawing near
And love is within our rainbow family

Leaving again
Never looking backwards
White nights are here to stay
Oblivion is our final destiny
